had to reformat my computer back along didn't think no more about updates as my computer is set to install automatically, but hubby bought me a new printer which will not install until service pk1 is installed, i have tried and tried to install it but with no luck, i have also tried to install it manually, it was on my computer originally so why will it not install now any suggestions

So Windows Update won't work? Maybe a quick virus scan to make sure you don't have anything lurking. I suggest using Microsoft Security Essentials. It is free.

I am sorry I tried virus scan also tried turning of firewall as a post suggested
My last attempt was nearly installed when a message came up saying it failed and files were Reverting its the furthest I have managed to get with install, if I haven't sorted by next week I will get hold of a computer tech we use only thing there is it will cost
