Might be a glitch. It's happened in the past for some of us. Are you SURE you weren't here? signing in TC

If you were here before and forgot to sign out, came back, that could be it; you were "still" signed in.

Sometimes this happens to me when I don't click on - sign out - at the top of the page but close my window and then don't lofg off the internet. Im told by Dell support that this is not a computer glitch or website glitch its just how the world wide web operates. without "signing out" the technology used to connect the world is set up to assume the person is still logged in to that website. This prevents alot of problems assocaited with technology booting people out of sights when they have not signed out yet. Technology can't prevent every getting "booted out suddenly" situation but has eliminated alot of it.

And with that comes the fact that people, unless the site has a built in timer of how long someone can be on their site without resigning in, are expected to sign out when they no longer want to be on that site.

On another hand technology has set things in motion where someone who logs completely off the internet must resign by in a website using their log in name and password or if the website has a feature called - remember me - and that box is checked their computer will automatically log them in to the site with out their having to type in the log in name and pass word every time.

I did remember reading why the tech site is accesible. i usually don't remember to sign out. I'm just usually cruising along and then Poof I'm gone.

If you just click the X button and forget to press the SIGN OUT button, your name will still show on the list, because you just closed off the window and not sign out.
