You are using Firefox 27.0.1 for Windows, yes?
What does your Firefox Health Report say?

Waterfox and Firefox are fine.I assume you already know this but just in case, dont use beta versions of anything because they are still ironing out problems.

It is crashing with the add-ons disabled? Have you tried it with the add-ons enabled?

If a browser starts crashing for no reason all of a sudden, out of the blue, that's often a sign of malware or a virus on the computer. Run malware and virus software to double-check.

I've been having issues with this forum as well, and none other... but also in yahoo... I disable my Avast for 10 minutes and let the pages load then enable the avast again. I've done the fix from avast but to no avail... hadn't thought about firefox because it IS only on this forum and sometimes my yahoo mail....

Frustratingly miserable if you ask me.

very frustrating, yes.

i think maybe we should start a partition to make the forum work better with firefox

lol..... in all seriousness though, maybee if you're having an issues too, their's an issue with the forum that no one's come across? (the staff team, i mean)

If it were a forum-wide issue, the tech forum would be full of hundreds of daily users who visit the forum on Firefox. I also use Firefox as my primary browser.

Considering we've made no substantial changes to the forum's templates or the forum software in more than 3 years, I can't see how anything we've done could be causing this issue.

Firefox has been horrible for me. It wouldnt accept my login to my bank..just kept returning me to the login & there was no problem with what i entered. Came up with unreadable face book...but with IE it would just hang loading. I couldnt even get to my emails with firefox & IE wouldnt open them...& this was the same time my smart phone crashed....no way of communicating with the outside world for almost a week...scarry feeling...not sure what i did but firefox is working better now
