Okay so I had Psych Central open and Photo shop elements I was going to upload a image. Then another user logged in and the screen froze and it said it shut down to prevent damage with some. After turning it back on it went to a black screen with options I select by using the arrows Safe Mode, Run Windows Normally, Safe mode with Networking, Safe Mode with Command prompt. No matter what I click on it goes to the Windows loading screen then to a blue screen with white letters saying Windows has shut down to prevent damaged a problem has been detected Unmountable_Boot_volvno.
Any help orideas I would love! Do I have to loose everything and buy a new hardrive? Is there anything I can do? Any programs or software? Thanks! Sarah116

AKA the "Blue Screen of Death" :-) Almost cheaper/easier to buy a new computer as hard drives can be such a pain to install. I "made" a computer out of my husband's old one for a friend, just replaced the hard drive and may never do that again. She's still using it though.
