As far as I can determine, it is not possible to receive e-mail notification when friends create a new post in the Forums. I wonder if this might be possible. I'm concerned I may be missing friends' posts. I do get e-mail notifications regarding threads I've subscribed to. But before this can occur I have to find the post to begin with. And there are so many posts all of the time that finding friends' posts can be a challenge.

We look into it and unfortunately, at this time, it cannot be easily done. Sorry.

Both YouTube and Upload Society have this feature. YouTube, of course, is huge. But Upload Society is privately owned. They sometimes have to ask for donations to keep the site running...
