I have two issues that I'm sure are related. One is that when I copy a picture and try to paste it, I get words instead. The other is that when I want to use italics, etc., instead of seeing the word in italics on my page, I see the word enclosed in brackets. (I do know it comes out in normal italics for the receiver.) I think there's a simple fix; I just have no idea what it is. TIA for the help.

Are you trying to copy a picture from another site or a picture of yours on your computer?

If you have a url for the picture (from another site), make sure you put code around it....(minus the dots)

That should solve that problem. If pictures are from your computer, you will have to upload them to a site and copy the url.

As far as using the italics tags, I don't know how you can see it in italics as you are typing it and using the code....if you preview your message, you will see how it reads in italics then.

It's the strangest thing, Sabby. I accumulate pics off the internet (group them on an inactive account) and each night choose one to send to friends. I've been doing it for three years and I've never had to do anything but copy and paste. No url involved. (?)

Also, I've always seen a word in italics as I type it......never having to use the code. It seems to me that this happened years ago but no way can I recall the fix. Maybe it's not a fix at all? Maybe it's normal and I'm the one who hasn't been? That wouldn't be a first.
