hey
I have pc bookmarked on my internet and now when I click on it it doesn't bring me to my profile page anymore but to this page with a tab labled chat room, a big ugly black page, with a whole bunch of choices that do me no good. it requires that I log in before I can access PC. I never had to log in before, I was always remembered. now this has my panties in a wad. I don't like change. I cant even get back into it after I have been gone for awhile, I have to refresh the page and sign in again. I hate this inconvenience. these are extra steps I have to go through to get to where I really want to be. I hate change. the old system was working, what was the purpose of changing it. I know when I log on at work thru chrome it brings this screen up. I don't like it, I don't like it, I don't like it. I hate having to sign in every time even though I have clicked remember me. thank you for letting me rant.

Yeah it's been that way for over a week. Sigh. Click on community and you'll get here.

Sorry folks, but we have made zero changes to the forums here in their template pages for.... well, years. So if you're seeing some sort of change, some sort of details --as we always ask for -- would be helpful. You know, stuff we ask for when you post here:

http://forums.psychcentral.com/commu...ead-first.html

Thanks! We can't help you if you don't provide this basic information.

I fixed it....I went into a place I don't know how to describe but it is where it stores the websites I have tabbed and somehow that got changed from psychcentral.com to psychcental.com/chat and I deleted the chat part of it. now my old screen comes up again. why do computers take it upon themselves to change things on their own and frustrate me so?

Because they can ? Because Bill Gates has a perverse sense of humor and ordered his programmers to put secret hidden little glitches in Windows just so he can laugh at us? Because they are conducting experiments to determine how far the carbon life forms can be pushed before they crash, in preparation for the day when all silicate beings will rise in revolution against us?
