When I take pictures off the Internet and send them to friends, the size has always been uniformly the same in spite of the original size. As of two days ago the size of the posted pictures has become smaller. Could someone tell me how to restore it to what it was previously? TIA.

That is interesting.
Are they all from the same site (in which case linking might be eating their server space and they automatically reduced pic size)...or from your computer (having been downloaded in the larger size?) If you are uploading them from the computer, did you "resize" them accidentally? OR are you saying the pictures already uploaded or linked WERE larger and now are smaller (as I first thought you said)? Did the program you're using recently update and perhaps change the size? I'm thinking...

There is free image editing software that can be found on several popular free and trial software websites. They are very simple and let you crop, resize, convert, sharpen, etc. I use Faststone and Focusviewer. (Just make sure the software does not contain any spyware or unwanted add-ons like Chrome, browser toolbars, etc. They usually ask you during installation if you want these.) You might have used a thumbnail file instead of the image file.
