Can someone please explain me the meaning of different chat options. This is the first time I am doing chat and I am confused.
Or is there somewhere in this site I can get the explanation. |

The list of rooms pops up when you hover on "Chat". I always go to "Lobby" first to set things, then go to another room. You will figure other things out by going in and clicking on things.

this chat engine can be rather tricky for newcomers. first, if you enter thru your Profile Page tab [Chat] Lobby, you may see other people's names there, but no one talks to you. that is because they are in other rooms and don't see you. off to the right are 3 long tabs; one is for the room you're in, one for friends who are in any room, and one for the rooms available.
the lines at the bottom of your profile page, called Flash Chat, i know very little about. either it is not working, or it is for mobile users only. it is supposed to take you into the chat where everyone is, it is not a separate chat engine, only a separate entry way. if you get to know someone and want to see if they are in the chats, there is a line on the [Chat] tab at the very bottom "Who's in Chat?", that will show that, and whether it is a public or private chat. if you enter a private chat room, it is wise to look to the right and see who created that room, and if they are present (their name will be in Bold). a greeting or request to join is not out of order. i hope this helps you find your way around a little easier. best wishes~ Gus
