Embarrassingly, many times after spell checking, I've gone to preview a post or response to a PM only to find that the 'page has expired' . I've saved it sometimes but others, my thoughts and passion is lost, whether or not I planned to send it just then or save for later to reassess. Is there any way to retrieve these lost efforts or prevent the page from expiring while one spell checks? I just lost an important one, that's irreplaceable for impromptu passion if not content.

Downso,
I do that with Internet Explorer as well and it's one reason I don't use it. I HATE that. I use mozilla firefox as my main browser and can go back MANY pages without anything expiring. Kd

My husband keeps "WordPad" up and types things in there first then cuts and pastes (or paste it into WordPad before you spellcheck in case something goes wrong?).
I have the same problem with my online school work and try to comfort myself with how much better I'm learning by having to type/express it twice :-)

I know I can just highlight and copy it then repaste but sometimes forget to, arrrgh. Thanks, maybe someday I'll get a better os.

you can download firefox for free off the internet.
i like firefox because the pages don't expire. i also like firefox because it seems to block my computer from picking up those nasty old datamines. i used to get a new datamine every time i went to the login page for hotmail (%#@&#! microsoft!!!) but i don't seem to get datamines AT ALL with firefox. also... i'm still getting used to it... but i quite like the tabbed browsing too... |
