Kind of like trigger warning icon so people know you aren't actually attacking them its just your brain short-circuiting.
ETA Maybe not I could see how it could be abused.

There are several icons one might be able to use. There's frown & mad, hissy fit, arguing, crazy... Perhaps one might string several icons together such as: .... just a thought...

I tend to string together the kind of icons The Skeezyks mentioned. I'll also start off a post by saying I'm cranky and need to vent. Some times members start a thread by saying they need to vent or rant. Is any of this helpful?

I find though, that those who are just venting, tend to disclaim that.

If you're concerned about hurting another's feelings, own it, and try to fix it, is a decent rule of thumb.
