I want to say I'm pleased to see this renamed and new (expanded) forum for people who are partners of someone with mental illness. Or their family, friends, neighbors, etc.
![]() ![]() Mental illness does not, unfortunately, just affect the person suffering from it. It impacts those in that person's life. ![]() I haven't looked at the main list of forums literally in YEARS, so I'm happy to see a forum for us. Appreciate the sub-forum for partners of people with personality disorders. ![]() FYI, I created this social group in 2008: ![]() http://forums.psychcentral.com/group...onditions.html It never really took off, but now that we have a forum (s), maybe some newbies will join and it can be revived again. ![]() ![]()

Thanks for your efforts in creating a social group for partners of people who struggle with depression & other mood disorders, nonightowl! As a person who struggles with depression, I have often thought about the effect it must have on my poor wife. She's not on PC. In fact, she's not a computer person at all. She pretty-much just uses it when she has to, but that's it. If she were, though, I can imagine she could both offer & gain allot from such a group. I hope many partners of people who struggle with mood disorders, who are on PC, will join!
