I posted a thread in the emotional coping forum yesterday.. see below. I went to check on it today, it's gone. Why? If it was the wrong forum, where do I put it? I posted it in the coping with emotions one because the topic was about that. Thanks.

The title was: "Looking for someone who has a bit of time to help"

The content was: "So. As per the title, I'm looking for someone who has a bit of time to help by talking to me about emotional states. I need this to be able to understand a few psychological things/issues going on with me.

You don't have to be a licensed therapist at all, just someone who has good understanding of people and emotions in general. I'm not asking you to waste your time for free with me. I'd like to give something back in return.

Please send a private message if you are interested in this. Thanks a lot."

Looking through your posts I cannot see that it has been moved.

Perhaps it was just a computer glitch that ate your post?

No, the thread itself actually posted and was available for a while before it disappeared.

So any ideas? Thanks.

Tiger8, i encourage you to go to Chat under emotional support. Say you are new and are looking for emotional support. People there will listen and give you feedback. It is really stretching out of a comfort zone but everyone there is nice and most have been through similiar experiences. There is nothing like chat with your peers. For Xmas they are having a special party so to speak for people who have nowhere to go and it is one big support. Please don't hesitate to go to chat. People are there 24/7. Blessings... and welcome
Thanks for this!

Tiger8, how about PM'ing an admin or moderator to ask what happened to the thread?

Who can I PM who will actually respond too? I don't imagine it's realistic to expect an answer from an admin, or...?

threads being removed is an administrative issue. the moderators to contact to figure out this kind of thing is go to the board where you had posted it and at the bottom there is a list of who moderates that board. click on any of those names and send them a private message.
Thanks for this!

Weird. I remember your thread. Good question as to why it disappeared.

Why does this forum exist if admins aren't responding?

It's the holidays. Maybe the admins and all are busy with family stuff? I'm sure they'll respond soon enough.

Just to clarify, when a member has an issue with their thread, the thread may be temporarily removed or closed until the community support team has had a chance to discuss the issue and contact the member. Due to the holidays, this process was slower than it normally was, so the member was not contact in as timely a manner as they normally would be regarding the issue with the thread.

We do respond to comments here, but yes, we're human too and take the holidays off to spend time offline for a bit. We apologize for the delay.

attentionThis is an old thread. You probably should not post your reply to it, as the original poster is unlikely to see it.
