I'm having problems with the PsychCentral website & I'm wondering if others are as well. I don't have similar problems on any of the other sites I visit on the web.

When I try to log onto PC lately it can take an unusually long time for it to come up. Sometimes it just doesn't. I have similar problems sometimes going between one forum & another.

This evening I wrote a fairly lengthy reply to a Thread, & when I clicked on the "Preview Post" button, I got a message telling me my message was too short. I ended up deleting the reply because I couldn't get past the "too short" message.

I also noticed, this evening, that links in Threads to information on other websites are not showing up. Instead there is a "half-square" (a line down the right-hand side & across the top) with a small "bar-sinister" (a circle with a line through it, diagonally). So I'm wondering if this is intentional or if it is a part of a bigger problem.

Each individual problem would be no big deal. However, all of it, taken together is disconcerting.

i suspect it's a bug in your computer have you done all your housekeeping ? logged out and back in to PC ? sometimes machines just want a cookie

Hi Gus: I have all sort of anti-virus protection on my computer. It's about as protected as it is possible for a personal computer to be. Plus, I'm not having these sorts of problems on any other website. And they don't always even occur here on PC. However it seems like, lately, it has become more of an issue for me... maybe just a coincidence... Thanks for your reply!

Have you tried clearing your browser cache? That may get rid of corrupted data that may be making pc slow. Good luck.

(oh, that's what i meant by "housekeeping" ,,, i have a program that does all the deletes for me,,, cookies, histories, browsers, etc... )

I think it's the site.

I'm not having issues with any other site.

In fact, I came to this forum to question as well. lol

It's pausing... delays in showing typing in posts (yes this one too), and delays moves in the game area (making it impossible to play some) ... and just now I submitted a post and it said I had already posted it in the last 5 minutes (I had not, nor did I stutter on the enter key!)

Poor baby is sick?
