Hi, I'm new to the site, and have been working on setting up my profile, made my first intro post, and am looking at different forum threads.

I don't seem to have this problem on the forum, but every time I've been tinkering with my profile, I get logged out.

Why, I don't know. But even if I have just logged in, and just try to upload a photo as my profile pic, as soon as I hit "save changes" -- I'm logged out again.

It's taken me several tries of logging in and editing to even get my profile to the minimalist state it's in.

Has anyone else had this problem? Is the login always secured (https)?

Okay, maybe I've answered my own question?

It appears that unless I check the "Remember me?" box near my username and password when logging in, I will get logged out constantly.

Bit weird. I'll try to get used to it. On other websites I've used clicking "Remember me?" just means it's easier to log in though and isn't there to prevent one from getting logged out constantly.

On other websites, if one doesn't click "Remember me?" it just means your session times out in an hour or so if there isn't any onsite activity -- rather than to be logged out after each click to a new page.

Me too! I always click the Remember Me box. I'm using Chrome.
