I've tried signing out three times, but when I check any of my posts it says I'm still here! It's happened before and it stopped eventually, but I can't remember how...I'm worried people will think I'm still online, and will think I'm ignoring them because I'm not answering them if they're talking to me. How can I sign out properly?

Did you click Remember me on each visit when you signed on? -
if YES, sign out and then sign back in with out checking the box.

Thanks for replying, Rhapsody. I never click on those boxes, because I use a shared computer...that's why I always check to make sure I've signed out properly. In this case, it looks like just closing the window and re-opening it fixed the problem, because when I checked one of my posts before signing in it said I was offline. So I'll just have to try and remember that if it ever happens again!

Argh, that can't be right! I logged out, closed the window, deleted the history...came back to make sure, and although it was asking me to log in, on my posts underneath my name it told me I was still online! Is there sometimes a delayed reaction between someone logging off and the online indicator realising? Or is it just my computer that's showing me as still online?

Hey Rio,

I've noticed a lag between actual signing off and the indicator changing. Nothing to worry about, but not really fixable I don't think.

I think DocJohn says there is a 15-20 minutes lag on the server??? IDK...now... the server was changed/updated recently wasn't it?
