Hi;

I recently made a group forum
http://forums.psychcentral.com/stitc...s-stuffs-sort/

I may be missing the "how to" but I do not see how to make a sticky in the group.
I am not even sure if I (just a member) am even able allowed to create a sticky for a Forum Group as a Group/Forum Starter/creator, but I thought I would ask.

I did check the tutorials and did not see an answer to this. (Maybe one is in archives? but I did not check that far back just what is shown when entering the Tutorial area).

Thanks for the help and hope all have been doing well.

----
This is the post that I want as a sticky if at all possible- the intro to the group.

I think you have to ask a mod to make the post a sticky for you.

Try this...

Hit reply to the post you want sticky.
Hit Go Advanced. You can't make a post sticky in the Quick Reply option
Type something in the reply box
Scroll down to the very bottom of the post before you post it.
There should be a check box that says 'Make this post sticky'

Let me know if this works.
Thanks for this!

Thanks TheWell, I tried to attempt what was instructed but I do not see the option of a sticky.
I've attached a snapshot of what I see when replying on the thread and in the advanced area.
Perhaps I'm missing the option or time has elapses for the option? (Not sure just throwing out thoughts)

The only ones who can sticky a thread is a moderator or administrator. All you need to do is pm one of us with a link to the thread and we'll be happy to sticky it for you.
Thanks for this!

I was thinking that maybe the person who started the group might have the sticky option. Sabby has it, just send us the link to the post and we can sticky it for you.
Thanks for this!

attentionThis is an old thread. You probably should not post your reply to it, as the original poster is unlikely to see it.
