Hi, I just posted something private, I mean the post doesn't belong to the thread where I posted.

Wrong post in a wrong thread. And I'd like to keep my writing, move it to where it belongs which is a thread that I made. Am I making clear sense here?

It is important, so pleeease, pls, will you help me? Anyone?

(I'm in a panick mode, this is funny but not that funny...if you know what i mean)

I wouldnt try to move it. I would copy and paste it into the right thread, then delete it from the wrong thread.

You can "report" your own post by clicking on the red triangle with an exclamation point in it at the lower left of your post. Then you can ask that a moderator delete or move it for you.

I feel like I need a magic wand or something..

I know it's my own silly mistake,,but even those solution seems a bit..much..I can do it, i will do it.

It'd be much easier for me to fix things on my own computer, but there,,,out there on the internet, it's just like clooouds. where is the internet? focus! .,.

I can be serious too. thank you two.

ETA: People does this all the time, I can't be the only one, and we do have technical solution to solve this.

We should have a function to move their own posts on any of the forums on the internet. just saying.

The international call used to cost a lot, and you get a free phone call to India and you get to talk a real Indian person, working hard for you customers.

Be grateful and nice. They sound nice, don't they?

I might say:

"Where are you from teeech person? I recognize your accent, are you from Minmesota? How are you today? Such a lovely place. But I feel like talking to a guy or a lady from India, preferably from Bangalore area. Can you get someone like that for me?"

The point is, your petty tech problem is not the person's fault, they are trying to help you, I hear they work looong hours, they are just trying to make a living, just like anyone else. That's just how i see the world.

I've just did what you suggested. and I'm waiting.

I decided against coping it. I'M SO CONFUSED.

I think I did it right though. I'm just waiting. I have to see they got deleted.
Things on the internet, or on your photocopier.

Digital information, man! They tend to remain,,somewhere you don't know, like on a memory chip. They stay there for like a minute, 10 secs or whatever. Be safe. Security, computer security taht is.

I look like a lunatic posting so many, don't I hahaha?

But I'm back with really helpful tips. Just hear me out.

First, don't get panicky like I did.

The second, you can delete what your wrote, if it was still editable.
I think it was like 2hrs time, you get to edit your own post if it was within 2hrs after you posted it.

Then if you make the report, with your request for the deletion, you'll get what you want.

It'll take some time, go make a cup of tea or something, and wait.

Done,,,or is it?

I don't mean to scare you but, it is kinda poetic to think that what you created, might be still alive, somewhere, copied and 'the print' still exists.....(I feel okay though, I forgot what I said in that post...plus, it looks like a funny bone in me )

(o my brain,,,I just remembered the last time I asked for the deletion of my very first thread. That's where I got the message you're seeing in this post.)

attentionThis is an old thread. You probably should not post your reply to it, as the original poster is unlikely to see it.
