I've seen where a few of our members have left, due to the lack of responses or feeling like they've not received much support. It breaks my heart this happens, so I've decided to extend an invitation to anyone experiencing this to message me if you need support. I'd like the opportunity to at lest TRY to help before you make the decision to leave. Often times it's just a matter of having so many members that it's hard to reach all of you. It does take time to get to know each other and make connections.
If anyone wants to help me reach out to those who are feeling "missed out on", feel free to extend a personal invitation here as well. I've been here long enough to know that we have some amazingly supportive people here, and I hope that everyone who comes here can recieve the help they need!

I agree. I feel pained when I see these posts as well. Anyone needing support is welcome to PM me, too. I will gladly ad support to those feeling left out.

As a Community Liaison, I try to greet newcomers but as there are many people a day added to the site I'm sure there are some that get missed.

I wish people would stick around long enough to get to know a few people before deciding to leave.

That's wonderful of you guys to extend a helping hand. I do get discouraged sometimes when my posts go unanswered so I get it. But I realize that just because I don't have a life, doesn't mean that the people here don't either lol. If anyone needs support I'm always here too so feel free to pm as well. My main issues and things I know a bit about are bp2, BPD, and bulimia/anorexia. But if you're not one of these, it doesn't matter. If you need to talk or vent about anything, I'm an open ear!

Thanks for this, Alone & confused. I did leave a while back. It didn't have anything to do with PC in particular. I was just tired of everything on the internet. I closed my PC account, my YouTube channel, my Google+ account & my Gmail site. Recently I was able to download Windows 10 & it sort-of renewed my interest. In thinking about where I might want to go, I decided on PC. And so, here I am. I don't post new Threads myself much. I've come back mainly to try to support other members. I'm glad I came back...

I have felt like this. I fit in with my fibro group but didn't feel like I fit in else where.

I'm sorry about that! That's why I suggested messaging because I get notifications on my phone for those. It'll be easier to get my attention that way.

I just wanted to thank all of you who have offered to make an extra effort to support our members! You are all like family to me, and I wanted to give back to the community that has made such a HUGE difference in my life, and hopefully give others the same care that I've been shown here! Y'all are awesome!!
Thanks for this!

Hello, its really nice to read this stuff. I've been abit lost since joining up but I'm slowly getting there now. I joined in on one of the organised support chats the other day and that was beneficial. I guess when you are already down on your self worth it is hard to put yourself out there without the self judgement that can come with it. Thank you to everyone who is taking the time to support and encourage others on here, just the odd visitor message can be enough to make a smile and brighten a day

I agree! It's pretty heartwarming when total strangers can sometimes show us more compassion than those who are physically around us. Being here has helped me more than any of the therapists or 23rd I've ever been to in my whole life! The availability to reach someone day or night 24/7, no appointments needed, the wonderful
people you meet, and for me I get a sense of purpose in my life that I wouldn't have otherwise when I find someone I can actually help! It does my heart good anytime I am able to relieve at least a part of some of the suffering in the world. I only wish I could do more! I also love the unity we have here, and being a part of something bigger than myself. Thank you all for allowing me to be a part of your lives. It really means so much to me!

Well, I miss a lot of things here, so if I've your threads I'm sorry! But you can always PM me if you need to talk, or get tired of waiting for responses or anything like that. I'll try to find more of your posts and read them if I can.
Thanks for this!

attentionThis is an old thread. You probably should not post your reply to it, as the original poster is unlikely to see it.
