When I add someone to my ignore list, he/she cannot post on my threads (supposedly), and his/her posts will be hidden to me. Good. But sometimes, on others' threads, someone will reply to the person who is on my ignore list by quoting his/her post, and thus I can see it now in the quotation. Is there anyway around this, as I add people to my ignore list for a reason, namely, because I don't want to see what they write at all.
Thanks |

Unfortunately, there is no way around quoted posts of members on your ignore list not to be seen by you.
It's one of those things that one has to learn how to move past the post that's quoted on to the next post in line. Sorry about that. |

you might try writing to the quoter, and asking them to remove it, or put it in a 'Trigger' box ?? best wishes~

Ignore is meant to be a handy convenience, not an absolute way of ignoring a person. Just like you can go out of your way to ignore and not be around a person in real life, but then bump into them in a public place completely unexpectedly, our ignore feature works in the same inexact, non-absolute way. I'm sorry it is the way it is, but we can't easily change the behavior of how this works...
