i have pictures in jpeg files, and they're too big to upload into the gallery for me to add to my username. i'm not a techie. i just know how to get around on the net and use the computer. i have no idea how to make a picture into a file that would fit into here. i'm easily confused nowadays. but, to help you see what i have. i have an HP laptop with Windows XP. so, if you can guide me, i would be grateful for the tips on doing that, so that i can insert a photo by my username or put it into the gallery. thanks so much in advance.

lol. gosh, my brain is definitely not working right! i was just in my profile, and i found the stock avatars, so it's very cool. sorry. my brain's been lopsided for months. teehee....

I have a program on my computer to do this, but here's a good online site that I've used to quickly resize and image to upload.

It's really easy to do and no spam or anything!

There's also a great free site ( www.photobucket.com ) where you can store your pics and size them from there. What's great about this site it that they're protected out there on the web if something happens to puter, but you can resize and copy super easy codes to paste directly into post or use URL. It's great and I'd recommend it!

I use a thing called Ifranview. It is free and super easy! PM me if you are interested and I will go find the free download link for you.
