I was wondering what steps and actions the Community and Technical Support Team were taking to find solutions for those that use Tapatalk to access the site?
I've noticed that instead of being invisible, those on Ignore Lists show up with a Spoiler box that can be clicked onto and it drops down to see what was posted. My concern is, that now, instead of being barred access to contact a member that might have someone(s) on ignore for various reasons, Tapatalk bypasses that barred status. Which, for some members create a safety concern as it breaches boundaries. Any insight as to what's being addressed as solutions to this dilemma would be greatly appreciated. |

There is little we can do that wouldn't require significant funding, resources, and effort on our part to fix this. It's something we may be able to fix some day, but it's not an easy or quick fix, so it's not on our development schedule.
Alternatively, we could disable Tapatalk, but that would upset the 20 percent of our regular members who access the community through the app, so it's not a solution we're likely to pursue. However, we've long had a work-around in place... Members can be placed on administrative "forced ignores" that mean that if technically even if they can technically reply to someone, they are barred from doing so without violating the administrative directive. This would put a member's account standing into jeopardy if they continued doing so. If you have a specific issue, please contact an administrator regarding it. Thanks! DocJohn
