My current location - Melbourne, Australia.
I'm battling to set the right time zone for scheduled chats on my side of the world. I've set my profile to GMT (+11) but I really don't know how this correlates to where in the world the time zones are scheduled in America. Or how to convert this.  I'm sure this has come up before but I've looked in the tutorial and can't find this thread.I keep picking it up because I get a notification on my screen saying "There's a Live Chat Happening" when there isn't.  How do I match where I am to where you are? |

According to this Time Zone Map...
https://www.timeanddate.com/time/map/...you do have your time zone set correctly. The calendar listings for the chats (that look like this)... This event occurs every 1 week(s) on Sunday...should show Melbourne time. If your chat reminders are still coming at the wrong times, would you mind posting again with a specific example? For instance, "The clock on my computer says it is now (Time A) in my time zone. I just got a chat reminder that says (name of chat) is happening at (Time B) but according to the calendar, that chat is actually scheduled for (Time C)." |

Thanks Fooze! Glad to know I've at least set this to the right time zone. Sure thing - when I get the notification I'll post back with the time and what it says.

This problem may or may not be related to the above 'Time Difference' query.
I requested a friendly reminder for both Spirituality Chat & Ptsd Chat over 2 years ago...The little Alarm Clock icon appears on the Event Calendar for both scheduled chat time slots...yet I have yet to receive even one reminder...please advise.

QL, what does the Event Reminders feature under Your Control Panel show?
I just set up a chat reminder for myself for tomorrow. I vaguely remember trying it once before but that was quite a while ago. Now I'm curious how it actually works.

Event Reminder on my Personal Profile Reads as below...yet I have never received reminders
PTSD Chat DocJohn This event occurs every 1 week(s) on Saturday 01-01-17 to 21-04-20 08:00 PM to 09:00 PM Four Hours Spirituality Chat DocJohn This event occurs every 1 week(s) on Sunday 19-12-14 to 07-10-18 04:00 PM to 05:00 PM Two Hours

Is the email address you're expecting the reminders in the same one that you registered with?

You could go to Edit Your Details and click on Change Your Email Address just to verify that it has the address you're checking. You aren't required to change your address just because you click on it. Just a thought.

Already did that, I only have 2 email accounts...one personal and one work email account.
I only registered using one email account...which appears in my profile details.
