Yeah, I was going to come on and say that it was working just fine, but the lag is back and some messages get lost pretty easily

good morning i was wondering this morning if there is anyway an obvious icon for logging out of the chatroom could be added or put under settings at least? oh darn there is something else but i will have to revisit that after i sleep for a few more minutes. The user list gets huge with members who have just not signed out of chat when they left and sense it isn't real clear how maybe that could be helped idk. thanks tho.

Not very pleased with certain aspects of the new chat. While I appreciate they cannot be changed by psych central, the developers should be aware. I type very fast, and it muted me for 30 seconds. That is very excessive. It's also reloading my page periodically. This is beyond annoying!!!

I wish there was a way to have a different avatar here an in chat . I know that can't happen , but it would be nice if the two can be separated?

ok so i'm on a macbook pro using google browser on free wifi hotspot,

the chat had been really bad but lately a lot better so idk if you gave it an update or if it was me that did it but its better,

i thought it might have been to do with turning my chat sounds off in the chat software bc it seemed to get better when i did that,

Isn't there a block/unblocked users list somewhere?

We are looking into different things we can do to help with these issues, but it may be a few days before we find a reliable solution.

Sorry for the problems.

I entered chat and in a new window and once I enter I can't read new messages. I say hello and nobody responds (or so I think). I left chat and entered it again and saw people saying hi to me. So my messages are going through but I just can't read new messages after i enter the room. Is there a way to solve this. This kinda sucks

Sorry you're experiencing problems accessing the chatrooms.

Do you experience this behavior on different browsers?

Have you tried clearing your cookies and/or web browser cache?

Do you have any kind of window pop-up blocker or malware software that you've disabled for our domain (to rule out any of those things causing a problem with our chatrooms)?

Monday, August 7, lagging a bit when I chat. Also, I've had messages about "you must wait 30 seconds to post" which seems excessive when chat is moving fast.

So far I have found the new chat to be great!

Aside from that, I love the chat community and we absolutely must not forget about the mods; they allow for the community to grow and thrive the way it does. I love that I can jump in almost any time of day and talk about whatever, whenever. It is a good feeling.

Thanks,

Uh...just wondering, how does one use the "report" feature in chat? And furthermore, how do I access my blocked users list to manage it?

How did you do it? I have no clue. I'm still learning about how things work in there.
