Hi. I am unable to get into chat from my travel laptop. I serached on this topic and tried all the things previously suggested.
I've tried many things including downloading and installing the latest version of Java, downloading and installing an older version of Java, downloading and installing the MS VM, changing my security and privacy settings to Low, ensuring scripting for Java is enabled in Tools / Internet Options, changing other options in IE one at a time (such as enabling TLS), clearing the cache, ensuring I don't have a firewall turned on, and rebooting -- all in various combinations. I get to the point where it starts to load, then it hangs when it says "sending login: iluuvpups". I don't understand why I can get this to work on one PC, but not on my other. I am using Windows XP SP2, IE 6.x SP2, and Java Standard Edition 6.0 version 1.6 Build 3. I am out of things to try. Can anyone help? Thanks. |

P.S. I have pop-ups turned off and I have verified from the Java website that Java is installed, configured, and working properly.

How about space? You got enough empty room for it to load?

It's a new laptop. I can't imagine it doesn't have enough space, but how would I check? Thanks.

Have you tried using an alternative browser, like Firefox?
