The spellcheck button in the message editor has been gone for a little while now. I don't know how prevalent this is, but I saw someone else mention it the other day.

I tried the usual clear and reset routines. This is happening in Firefox under Linux.

I tried another web browser (based on WebKit), and the spellcheck button wasn't there either. For that matter, the window size and mode switch buttons also went missing then.

Thanks for any help anyone can provide. (I am fairly stuck with my current browser, unfortunately.) Not having a built-in spellcheck isn't bad, but it is tiresome.

We did have to remove spellcheck as it was no longer compatible with the new version of software. Most modern browsers and phones automatically do spellcheck anyway with a little squiggly line under the misspelled word (or offers suggestions as you type). Sorry, but we felt like since this sort of functionality is now supported by most browsers, it was also no longer needed in the forums.

Okay. Thanks for letting me know.

Actually I'd forgotten about in-browser spell check, since I'd switched it off some time ago when it was slow and irritating. It seems much improved now, so everything is okay.

And thanks butterfly for the tip. I may use that if the built-in browser package doesn't meet my needs.
