Are members allowed to make these “ check in threads “ ? I have a person on ignore so I can’t post in that important to me thread.

I believe the guidelines state that check in threads need to be made by someone who is not using the ignore function, and if you would like one made but have someone on ignore, ask a moderator to make it.

I'm sorry if I'm asking a dopey question, but...what are "check-in" threads? For some reason I'm not recalling what that means. Thanks.

Laurie, there are numerous ones on the Bipolar one. Check in , diet, exercise etc etc ...

One of the problems with all these threads is actual threads made by members asking for support or info quickly get buried and on page 2 with in a day with all the revolving threads.

A few new members posted for help and I didn’t see them until a day later on page 2, they had gotten no responses and I don’t know if they are even on PC.

I was just curious

thank you seesaw

The guidelines state
Quote:
Members who have other members on their Ignore list should not start community/group/game/party/holiday threads, because it would limit who could post to such a thread; such members should ask a community support team member to start the thread instead.
So if the person who created the thread has people on ignore you can let us know which thread and we will restart the thread.

However, if you have someone on ignore it doesn't prevent that person from starting a community thread. The way ignore works is the member doesn't know when others have them on ignore and there would be no way for them to know.

attentionThis is an old thread. You probably should not post your reply to it, as the original poster is unlikely to see it.
