You can ask a mod via PM to delete your name from the posts via removing your account info, but the posts will still remain under anonymous with a number on the end.

Hi Sky101.

Good News if there was an error in your diagnosis of Bipolar. If you feel strongly about having your threads & posts deleted, you can present your case to administration here at Psych Central.

Usually it takes several days for your account to be deleted. Threads usually aren't erased, but will appear under the name 'Anonymous'. However, it doesn't hurt to ask. You can find a list of Admins using this link.

Wishing you all the best in moving forward Sky101...please be kind & generous to yourself.

Here's the FAQ entry regarding closing an account. If you go to the page & scroll down to the bottom, you'll see a section titled: "How can I cancel or delete my account?":

attentionThis is an old thread. You probably should not post your reply to it, as the original poster is unlikely to see it.
