I only noticed yesterday when using my LG phone. Top marks to the tech people behind the scene.

I dont think the thumbs up icon is a good replacement for the nuances you have with thanks and hugs.
Also I mentioned elsewhere that you cant tell what page youre on at the bottom of the page. You have to scroll to the top to advance to the next page.I havent looked at the messaging yet which was very confusing to me prior to the change.

We've updated the page number listing to more clearly show what page you are on.

The thanks and hugs word-buttons were replaced with a thumbs-up and a heart to denote the exact same meaning -- thanks and hugs. While not ideal, it's the best we could with what we have to work with...

I can't seem to change from the Psych Central theme. I've tried using the box at the bottom left of the screen. Regardless which theme I pick it stays Psych Central, both the actual appearance and what appears in the box. Also tried changing it in my profile. Nothing changes.

I like the Psych Central theme, so this really isn't a big deal, but wonder why I can't change. I'm using my Lenovo laptop, Chrome (don't remember which version) and Windows 10. Anybody have any ideas why it won't change?

Same is happening for me. Yesterday I cleared my cookies and cache and it worked fine but today when I logged it I can't change it again.

Have you both tried to change the theme from your Edit Your Options screen (under Miscellaneous options):

https://forums.psychcentral.com/prof...do=editoptions

Make sure you hit the "Save Changes" button at the bottom of that screen.

Going to a random post/thread that you've never viewed before, and trying to change the stylesheet from there seems to work more often for me, too. We haven't figured out what plugin is causing this odd behavior, unfortunately.

I cleared my cache and cookies. I have tried changing the theme both using the box at the lower left of the screen and through my options in my profile (yep, remembered to save changes). Tried doing this through a random thread in a forum I don't usually frequent. None of it works, theme stays Psych Central.

Like I said, I like this theme so I don't really care that I can't change it. Mostly I wanted to let you know that there's a problem changing, at least for me.

Thanks DocJohn for explaining how to save the preference, I was going to ask about it. The new theme is actually more mobile friendly...just, I love the old one too much So, for now I'm keeping the old one. But thanks for the new option!
