This is an announcement about the Psych Central Forums moving to their own domain.
We're doing this because the forums -- with their over 6 million posts -- may be negatively impacting our core domain and its ability to be indexed well in Google and other search engines. You will notice very little difference, other than the new domain name. As happened recently, you should know your user login name and password, as you will have to log back into your account once the change is completed. Also please make sure your email address is accurate and up-to-date on your profile here (in case you need to reset your password). (If you change your email address, you will need to confirm the new address by clicking on a link you will receive in email.) This update is scheduled for the morning of Thursday, May 2, 2019. There is nothing you need do. You will be automatically directed to the new site and domain (https://psychcentralforums.com/). My Support Forums is the online community that was originally begun as the Psych Central Forums in 2001. It now runs as an independent self-help support group community for mental health, personality, and psychological issues and is overseen by a group of dedicated, caring volunteers from around the world.
