Hi my thread was moved to the Anxiety forum, I don't know why as the subject was not about social anxiety at all!

https://psychcentralforums.com/anxie...tabilising.htm

Could it at least be moved to the Bipolar Forum, because the topic was about hypomanic and depressive episodes.

I just thought it would be more inclusive where I put it.

But in hind sight, since I've only had one response, the Bipolar Forum is definitely a better fit.

Thank you.

Sorry, the above link didn't work - here's the correct one:

Does anyone else find socialising destabilising?

I moved it to where you wanted it.

In the future, if you want a thread moved, it's faster to use the report icon (the exclamation point inside the triangle at the lower left of each post) rather than post here.

I never asked for my thread to be moved in the first place - it was just moved randomly to the wrong forum when it wasn't in an inappropriate place to begin with. I think a mod was moving threads and moved mine by mistake.

My apologies(sarcasm) for not knowing the proper course of action for when a mod makes a mistake and does not correct it or apologise.

Thank you for correcting the mistake, that I understand may have not been made by you, and moving my thread.

By the way, the uses indicated for the report icon do not include asking a mod to correct their mistake - I checked.

I know from experience that mods move threads to places they think are better or more appropriate, but they are human. And humans like being told privately about things, especially perceived errors. rather than having them made public. Again, they thought they were doing the right thing, so they didn't see it as a mistake on their part.

But I understand that's not our usual understanding of the "report" option. I know, however, again from experience, that the best way to get a mod's attention is to use that option!

At any rate, I'm glad you got your thread moved where you prefer.

I meant if you want a thread moved at all. Including if you think it’s been moved by a moderator to the wrong forum, you think another thread is in the wrong forum, or that you realize you mistakenly posted in the wrong forum.

attentionThis is an old thread. You probably should not post your reply to it, as the original poster is unlikely to see it.
