Moderators, and others -- would it be a good idea to move this thread

to the main Psychotherapy forum, rather than the Romantic Feelings about Your Therapist subforum where it is now.

PS: I've copied and pasted my "Therapy Abuse, Exploitation, Etc." thread into the sticky thread, "Helpful links for help if you have been abused by your therapist." I didn't realize it was already a thread, but it was a sticky in the romantic feelings area, which doesn't quite fit "emotional abuse in psychotherapy," which is the central theme that I've included in my post.

The "Therapy Abuse, Exploitation, Etc." thread can be deleted since I've already copied and pasted. I will keep it up until a mod/admin decides to delete it and maybe move the sticky.

It would make sense to put the sticky in the "Psychotherapy" forum, as opposed to the "Romantic/Transference" forum, since both the sticky and my post under the sticky now includes "emotional abuse," not just sexual exploitation.

I hope that makes sense and doesn't confuse. I agree with @here today

If you'd like me to delete the additional thread I accidentally posted (Therapy Abuse, Exploitation, Etc.), I can. Just let me know.

Although not as obvious, maybe, as sexual abuse and exploitation in therapy, there were questions about emotional abuse soon after this thread was started.

Hi. I'm returning (lillib originally, but now Lilly2).

I can volunteer to provide an updated list and add all the links currently provided in the "romantic" forum, unless someone else has already started.

I agree that there should be a new thread with a title like: "Resources for Therapy Abuse, Exploitation, & Ruptures" - which could potentially be a sticky directly within the Psychotherapy Forum (NOT the romantic forum).

Or, I can work with someone else who wants to post it. Maybe we can work via PM, where I share the links and categories of those links, and then someone else can take my PM and copy it into their final thread for the sticky. I don't need to be the one posting it. Maybe a mod or one of the others who shared links in the past could post it instead. I don't mind just helping out.
