hey (((((((atg)))))))) - I get that a lot of the time too... it usually has to do with your internet connection/speed and things of that nature. Or it's just a very large (size of) video and it takes a while to load - which it does in increments, like you've said.

How old is your computer? You need a good connection (cable) and lots of room and speed on your computer to get it to play smoothly. If your computer is more than 4-5 years old you probably aren't going to get good quality play.

Maybe their help screen will have more ideas that are more pertinent to what set up you have?

Have you changed any of the settings on your computer recently? Have you tried clearing your cookies?

Problem solved - my computer fairy did it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!lol I just went back into you tube and i can now watch a vidoe with no interuptions!

I wonder if if has something to do with the fact that this morning I mistakenly disconnected myself from the server. When i was trying to access the internet it kept saying something about no server found! I coulnt get into the internet so I switched everything off and then back on again and the computer has reconnected itself and since then the speed its working at is amazing!

btw, we forgot to say that OS means Operating System.

for example, Windows XP, Linux Ubuntu, they are operating systems.

Happens to me all the time - I have a "youtube frustration" thread somewhere below on on the next page.

What I do now is open the video, minimize it and go back to watch it in about 20 minutes time - it has usually buffered completely and I am able to watch it without interruption. I have to REALLY want to watch it to wait those 20 or so minutes though!!

Yeah, I will "open" one video, leave it alone awhile myself, and come back to it later to watch it over and over after it buffers...

youtube Perna, the computer we are on atm is running Ubuntu.

We have a small network, usually about 4 computers & we run them all on Linux OSs, several different ones. On the very rare occassions when we are forced to run a windows program, we use a windows emulator within Linux.
