I had my font preference set for Book Antiqua and navy. Another members mentioned having trouble with the color so I tried to change it. As you can see the change didn't work.

I went to my profile. Clicked on customize profile. Changed font color to black (a string of 0s). Clicked save for that section, then clicked save changes at the bottom of the page. I did all of this twice, but the text is still navy. What did I do wrong?

You change these options under Edit Options in your profile section:

https://psychcentralforums.com/profi...do=editoptions

You may not be changing the correct font settings, or maybe not choosing the "Save Options" at the bottom of the screen?

Also, when you change your own font for how YOUR posts are displayed when you make a new post or reply, it is NOT retroactive. In other words, all your old posts will continue to show your old font choices. Only your new posts and replies are impacted by the changes made here.

For a profile change, you might have to log out and log back in?

Testing.

Nope. Worked for me on first try.

Oh, but look at that! It did not apply to the rest of the post after i submitted it and then editted the post.

Thanks Doc John. I was making the change in the wrong place.
Thanks for this!
