Each action on Psych Central at this time (around 7:57 AM EST) takes something like 45 seconds to achieve.

I am having problems as well. The site is SLOW!

Also, where it says 'Chat' at the top of the screen there is no number telling me how many members are in chat. When I click Chat > Who's Online I get the unable to find page message. Psych Central slowdown

This is due to the chatrooms being offline. The problem has been fixed while we work on the bringing the chatrooms back online.

Yeah pachy, times for me that are slow and/or unable to access PC at all is 5:30-6:30 a.m., and I have a cable modem

we had trouble getting in today between 11 am uk time tried for about an hour, i gave up in the end it was so frustrating

Yes, Kath, you're 5 hours ahead so that would have been 7-8 a.m. where PC's computers are located in the U.S.

would that equate to now for us ?

it is 21 09, & we are 16 hours ahead of site time Psych Central slowdown

the site has slowed massively

Yeah Zorah, looks like you are right in the midst of things.......I am on E.S.T. (same as site) and every every day, I am either unable to access or it takes way too long to log in between 5:30 - 6:30 a.m.

Earlier messages I have read indicate that a backup is performed at that time of day, so expect slowness then. My original experience this time was at much later in the day.
