Sorry, willowtigger, but you don't have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:

see what i mean about it making threats to stop all my posts?

I'm actually curious about this too. I get the same message and the FAQ is not particularly helpful. It tells me to scroll to the bottom and hit a button that's not there. Is there something we're missing?

Never mind. Found it. You have to click the "here" in click here underneath the title. Once you click that there should be a button that says Join Group. Hit that and you're golden.

You're not stupid. It's just really badly placed. It's in the fine print underneath the title link. The "Click here to visit this social group." The word "here" is the link I found.

Social group forums can only be posted to by members of that social group. So how do you become a member of a social group?

Find the group you want to join here:

https://mysupportforums.org/groups/c...y-general.html

(Use the search box on that page if you can't find them by browsing the list, as we have a lot of defunct, no-longer-active groups.)

Click on the name of the group you want to join.

Read the group's description then click on the "Join This Group" link to join the group.

Once you've joined the group, you should be able to now post to the social group forum you wanted to. Some groups, however, may be setup to require approval from the group's leader first. So you may have to wait for that approval before you can post.

Anyone can start their own social group. Social groups are for more social and specific topics than the general forums.

Hope this helps!

PS - This question is indeed answered in our Help section here: https://mysupportforums.org/faq.php?...oinsocialforum

The FAQ/Help section is always your friend.

I would guess that those sub-forums (or social group forums) will be counted towards your post count - as I only know of the Test-Forum to be exempt of it. However only an Administrator can give verifyable info, I guess.

Kindest,

attentionThis is an old thread. You probably should not post your reply to it, as the original poster is unlikely to see it.
