I've read the TOS and community guidelines and want to know if I can start a thread on microdosing THC. Marijuana is legal where I live. I have found taking a tiny dose (4mg) to be the best anti-depressant I have ever tried. This is not a dose that will get most people high, and I have no other effect from it than stopping depression.

Yes, if micro-dosing is helping you with a mental health issue or other similar kind of issue in your life and you find it beneficial (and it's legal where you live), I see no problem in posting to the appropriate forum about your experiences to help others who may want to try it.

Just be aware, however, that some of our members are dealing with substance abuse or other addictive behaviors and the advice you give may not be right for everyone. There is no "one size fits all" when it comes to things that help...

I think this is wonderful and could potentially help many people who live in a place where marijuana is legal. There is a reason why it's used for medical purposes, and why people are being given medical cards to use it. Different marijuana strands can have different effects, like calming anxieties along with depression.

To my knowledge, as I've experienced psychosis in the past, mj is not recommended.

I don’t know anything at all about microdosing so I’d be interested. 23 states plus DC have legalized this. So almost half the states. And Biden is working on decriminalizing it. So it’s a topic that needs rational debate.

It’s legal in many places, it’s legal in my state, if people want to use it it is certainly isn’t prohibited (unless you do it at work). But alcohol is also legal. And so is nicotine.

Is there a subforum where people could discuss various substances? Maybe same subforum where medication is discussed or maybe we need a separate subforum for people who want to share those experiences?
