Take a break?
If you want, you can take a break from the community. This option will let you log in, but you won't be able to post. You can receive and reply to PMs, however.
No Yes

I got a question about this: I was going to click yes but then got worried

If we click yes, can we still get into our options to change it back to no? Or do we lose access to our options as well as be unable to post? Cause it says we can reply to PM messages but it doesn't say whether or not we can edit our options

idk if i'm overthinking it now

and not sure if I'll be able to find where it says that again cause I forgot already where I found that

Oh thats interesting!

Its under my profile, edit options.

I would think you would be able to change it from yes to no and vice versa. You arent "posting" when you do so, you are just adjusting your profile. I see it as two different databases, which are mutually exclusive. The yes/no only affects your ability to update the "threads / posts" database. It doesnt affect your ability to update the "users / profile" database.

I admit I'm a bit scared to click yes in case I then cannot change it back - if I click yes, I assume I could pm one of the staff if it then refused to let me change back?

i mean i'll be using it as a practicing self care thing cause i think thats how it's intended to get used

Hi there!

I just tried it - switch to yes and submit ... it didn't log me out, and as you can see you can switch it back yourself.

EDIT: However, I noticed that chat is disabled for me now - even without the break-mode enabled. I did log in fresh, and clear cookies.

You have to go back to your options screen and click save at the bottom again. It’s a bug we’re aware of, where you need to do it twice for this option to take. You’ll need to save it twice again too when you want to turn it off.

willowtigger upset it again by changing her privacy settings

she now can't change her title thing either, or pm, or leave visitor messages and she'll probably get threatened by a message popup thing when she tries to send this in

Had to delete everything and I mean literally everything out of my private messages, cause it wouldn't let me do anything other than delete in my messages, until I had deleted literally everything in it

including the folder I made so I could put stuff I have to remember in there

had to delete literally everything

Sorry we should’ve tagged it as an experimental feature we’re still testing. Please no need to keep adding to this thread at this time thanks.

This feature has been removed pending further testing.

If your account remains somehow limited, drop a PM to an admin or contact us through the contact form or email address and we’ll get it fixed.

my account seems to be back to normal now, sorry for being a big pain docjohn, hope the staff are not angry and upset at me now

i changed my title back to what i first put it as, but if the staff want to change it cause of being mad at me then you can, i won't touch it if any staff change it even if it gets changed to scumturd or anything

attentionThis is an old thread. You probably should not post your reply to it, as the original poster is unlikely to see it.
