Has the Forum started allowing ads on the lower portion of the screen? I'm also getting a not secure warning. It's a Chromebook.

The ads are very irritating you can push x but every time you post or refresh they pop back up

Yes, we've added the advertising code to all the themes. Previously it was just on the most popular themes, but we need to maintain all these themes, so it only is fair and makes sense to have them all support advertising -- which in turn, supports our ability to pay our server bills and for the maintenance of the forum software.

I keep getting a scammy looking psychic one, says to select a card and wont close when i click the x
Just mentioning it cause it feels scammy, the way it behaves I dont know who the advert is from though, all i know is its a tarot one and it gets in the way and wont close Its worse on my phone cause it takes up most of the screen, the other adverse stay out of the way but this card one keeps getting in the way when it comes up, making it impossible to do much until i refresh the page on phone Just now i dont see it cause i refreshed the page but it keeps coming back and screen size of phone makes posting hard, foe me anyway Current advert is fine, its a depression help one and its nor stopping me posting It just came up again, psychic readings for free dot something i didnt see what Last edited by felineangel; Oct 26, 2023 at 09:14 AM.. |
