I know there's the ignore thread feature, but there are certain threads that become multiples and sometimes it's hard to keep up with ignoring these threads it seems like every other day. I'm not in a healthy place and these certain threads I kinda want to post but I know what I post will be triggering or attention seeking or whatever and the coffeehouse (or health) forums are definitely not the places for that (also don't genuinely want any backlash that may come out of it).

I even have these threads on ignore, but when they're the most recently posted in thread I still can just click on it from the list of subforums.

Yes, unfortunately that's not an option we can provide at this time. But thank you for the suggestion!

I feel like a moron. I wasn't aware we could ignore threads. I thought we could only put people on ignore.

Its a fairly new feature. I use it on threads i all of a sudden have turned old lady crabby on!

Yes Muddy, you can still see ignored threads on the main index page, the one where the forums are listed (if that thread had the most recent activity). Only way you don’t see it is in that forum directly. There’s definitely multiple threads on the same topic, even in the same forum. That’s been around since I’ve been here 17 years!

You can also see an ignored member, if they were the person who last posted in a thread, on that main index page.
