When I want to quote a particular part of somebody's post, how do I do this? Each time I try, I get their entire post .

1) First I hightlight the line/s I want quoted.
2) Then I hit quote box
3) It sends me to the posting box, but the entire post is there instead of what I hightlighted. Am I doing something wrong?

I have silly question.... I keep doing it over & over...same results

TIA tulips

Not a silly question...

If you only want to quote certain lines, you should highlight (copy) press Reply, hit paste and include [quote*] and [/quote*] around what you're quoting. (taking out **)

The "Quote" button can also be used, because it will quote the entire post, and then you can delete what you dont want to quote.

I have silly question.... I appreciate your quick response and the part about not being silly too. That was sweet!
