Ok DocJohn I am having trouble now... when I posted the above reply, the coloring worked but I had to go back in to EDIT mode and add a word I had deleted by mistake. NOW it posts without the color.

No, btw, I am not adding the " " to the code, it does that. I use the font color boxes, click on the color...

but then I have to delete the ending because it always shows up right after the entering code and before it's colored any text!

(such as, and I do this without the brackets so it will show:
{colorurple} { /color} ........

as for the use of bold, I have done both: entered it manually in text, and clicked on the Instant Bold word and entered the entire text I want bold.

Shoot. DocJohn, I just now posted to bptoo in the General ... and went back to add bold hugs... clicked on the bold tag and typed the hugs... and as you can see, the post sits there with the brackets but no bold... sigh. The edit mode....

Sky, thanks for posting repeatedly about this issue. My suggestion to you in the short term is not to edit your posts so much, or use preview first before making a posting. In the long-term, I will look into fixing this problem, thanks!
