Maybe the edit button disappears after the time that is allowed for you to change a post is up?

True, and you can only edit your own posts
 so you only get reply and post for other people's? You can only reply or post until you reply or post

It crashed. First my Google toolbar disappeared before my very eyes then some desktop icons, then the entire desktop and the screen went black.
Something weird happened once here that my pages got all messed up and I took a screen shot because I was the only one it happened to.  Anyway, I have no idea what my brother-in-law did to rescue me, but it's up and running for now and we're going to buy him dinner as a thank you. Gonna do that whole virus scan, adware scan, defrag etc. thing.

I hope your brother-in-law doesn't have to wait for dinner while you defrag, LOL. Long wait. My machine is doing it's Friday, 8:00 p.m. Northing AntiVirus scan. Borrrrring
