How do you get an icon next to your name in the chat room?

When in chat, click My Profile, then Avatar Icon. A box of choices will pop up. Double click on your fav one. Then click on Cancel. Your avatar will be there next to your name.

An alternative is if you always want to use the same one, you can put it in your profile and it will always be there for you each time you enter chat. Go through the above steps first, and put your cursor over the icon you like, don't click, just hover over it. It will display a number. Mine is 111, for instance. Remember your number.

Then when not in chat...go to the regular My Profile screen, where your Bio is, etc., ya know? On that screen where the bio is, there is a place to enter the Avatar Icon. Just type in the number from you favorite avatar.

The next time you enter chat, you will automatically have the avatar you want.

Hi emmy,

It worked perfectly in spite of myself! Chat Icon

Thanks for taking the time to explain it all perfectly to me!

I chose the heart because my online avatar with my dog has a heart balloon.

I guess I shouldn't say this, em. But I'm close to a half a century now. Ewww! That sounds horrid. Chat Icon
