Isn't there a maxium number of subscribed threads? I don't have a lot yet, but I want to keep track since I never know when there's going to be a new reply to it.

Would it automatically purge after a certain length of time? Or give you a warning: "Max # of threads has been reached?" What about a max for folders in PM box? I checked/searched FAQ and this forum, and I didn't see anything.

Maximum # of subscribed threads? Folders?

Hmmm....looks like some good tips in here.

Okay....well I guess it's something I don't have to worry about anytime soon! I mean if we can have thousands of PM's, we can probably have hundreds, at least, of thread subscriptions? With new threads added all the time, too! Same goes for folders.

It's just that I can't think of anything IRL that is without maximum capacity: Your car's gas tank, your answering machine's memory, the highest temp on your thermostat...LOL Just curious and testing the waters...I guess no one knows the answer.

Okay, I'll try this again....38 views..hmmm, no reply, except my own.

Anyone know the answer? Member, moderator, anyone? Hello????

Hundreds of member...I ask this question because like I said in an earlier post, everything IRL has a maximum capacity.

If'n I knew the answer, I would answer the question LOLOLOL.

I do not know if there is a specific number of threads you can subscribe to or not. One thought that came to my mind though is that threads usually die out in time (most of them do) and you can always unsubscribe to them as new one become available that you wish to subscribe to no? I would keep going with it and if there is a maximum and you hit it...well, then you'll know

I'm sorry for being so casual hon....I really have no specific idea, but I think it's pretty unlimited or at the very least a large amount can be realized. I know that's not much help.

As far as I know, there's no limit to # of subscribed threads.

Well, I didn't know if no one knew, or the post just got "lost in the shuffle". Another member told me that the most recent posts stand out, so I should try posting again in my own thread, to "bump it up". LOL Somebody, anybody, just say next time, "Beats me!" or "Heck if I know anything?."

I have noticed the short attention span people have, and how fast threads die out!!! Also glad it's not just my threads that die out. LOL Lots of similar threads too.

I just thought it was odd, that's all. PM's tell you the max number, but nothing else. Software can be weird; I know that for sure. Thanks, Sab & Doc.

P.S. Boy I love these animated emoticons, as you see.

attentionThis is an old thread. You probably should not post your reply to it, as the original poster is unlikely to see it.
