I was reading the instructions on my blog and low and behold I pushed a button and found lots and lots of different themes. I'd say, maybe l00 different themes or so.... Question is, can I use one of the themes I found?

If the answer is yes and is complicated, I will get my son to help me.

Yes, I know.. I already messed up my blog and why would I want to make things more complicated. I dunno is the answer. Just I found these cool "themes" and well..

OK.. I was reading the Support Forum at WordPress and found a question on how to download new themes.... answer included a live tutorial. Lucky me.. huh........ lol at me..... cuz I found new stuff to learn and tons of buttons to push.

Well the instructions are at, and can u believe this, grins,..village-idiot.org.
dang.. name rather fits me.. so I continued....I am thinking since this is a "live" type demo.. that I can do it...hmmm

OK so the questions now are...
1. Plugins... We can download plugins? and they are free?? right.

2. The Themes are free.. esp those that say they are free? what about the other themes that don't say "free".. They all have download buttons..and of course I downloaded some themes and nothing was mentioned anywhere about paying for them.. It would make sense they are free?? right

3. I am not sure if I need to know the version of WordPress that PC has available for folks to blog is needed. right... or do I need that info.. and if I do.. what version does PC have...

wipes brow... maybe someone might have a few answers.. if not.. i guess i can always try this by trial and error... right?

I would think if I was running into anything that will cost me money, something will show up asking how I will pay for it? right?

I would think I had better have a "good" blog with all this work involved. Besides all this finding that just perfect theme is keeping me busy and hopefully by the time I get this all straighteded out, I will find something to say on my blog..

The blogs here are very basic and not too customizable. Since I don't know what site you're looking at in terms of the themes, I can't answer that question. If you need/want a new theme installed, PM me with a link to it.

We're running 1.2.5 at the moment (which corresponds to WP 2.2x themes).

O wow I don't know what to say. Just a great big thanks for your help.

I will pm a link as soon as I decide on which one of the four themes I would like to use..

Am smiling now.. Decisions.. Decisions. Should it be flowers, snow, colorful, trees, or a house theme.... Winter.. fall .. or spring...

Thanks again, for your help..
