Red beside a member's posts means they're either logged out or invisible. Green means the member is online and visible.

The logout option is just under your welcome message and notifications (ie private messaging)...just to the right of "quick links" on the bar containing multiple links and user options.

Yes, you'll always show green to yourself when logged in. It will also tell you who's still online within any thread you're reading as a quick option (unless a member has set their status to invisible).

So, if you're invisible, you will show green to yourself but red to other members.

Hope that helps!

KD

Would you like this (becoming invisible at will) as an option IRL???

Just Wondering

IRL... I don't have broadcasts to my social community that say things like

'shes in the bathroom now'
'now shes in the lounge'
'now shes checking out the local 7/11'

I'd like it to not say what I'm doing on the forums.

There seems to be an invisibility option somewhere... I'd like to employ it if possible.

Also... Sometimes people post things that are fairly intense. Sometimes I need some time to think before responding. I don't like them to see that I'm reading their thread... and now I'm checking my PM's or looking at other threads but not responding to them. THink being invisible can save hurts as times...

Go into 'My Profile'

Down the left hand side click 'Edit Options'

Tick use 'Invisible' mode.

Go to bottom of page click 'save changes'

Then you should be invisible.

Thanks so much! I looked... And I looked... And I couldn't find it for the life of me. It is of course obvious... Now that it has been pointed out. Sniff...
