I was diagnosed with lightheadedness and emotional stress 4 days ago. My doctor prescribed mindfulness . Thursday I talked to my former therapist about a situation going on in my life, I'm setting up a therapeutic separation with my partner. I do not know if he is going to do his part.

I am very tense, hypervigilant. I did 10 minutes of yoga and cried during the meditation.

My 15.75 year old daughter came home high from the fair yesterday. She has a substance abuse problem. My ex husband did not return her call yesterday. Traditionally he took her to the fair but this year he has a new girlfriend whom he brings with him everywhere and my daughter does not want her with him. The last time my ex husband did this, when she was in elementary school she was just happy to spend time with him regardless of his girlfriend.

My body is tense . I have a 20 min yoga routine I do in the morning which I will do in a bit.

I don't have an appetite.

I'm taking my medication as directed.

I see my NP on Tuesday morning to discuss whether or not these symptoms are being caused by my medication.

Mindfullness worked for me! It takes some time to get used to so I understand how scary it can be and fear of the unknown. Healing takes time, give yourself some grace, you will get through this!

Thank you . I saw my nurse this week and she told me that my symptoms were related to my diagnosis not my medication .

What is your diagnosis then? C-PTSD or something else?

Lightheadedness and emotional stress on top of the PTSD
