Do ever feel you wish you didn't know that you had a diagnosis? That every part of your personality is linked to something in your life? Sometimes I think we know too much. After my diagnosis I wanted to find out more about CPTSD to see if there was something I could do to fix it without therapy and drugs. The more I read the more put out I was. Everything fit what I was going through, but I didn't have the concentration to absorb what I needed to, and do it. So in a way I think that made it worse, just knowing too much.

Actually I'm finally getting a diagnosis. For the longest time I'd just "Deal with it".
However it's catching up to me. So now I have to go through psychotherapy to figure out exactly what's going on. They've hinted at PTSD, dissociative amnesia, and I'm not sure how this'll turn out. I'm staying optimistic though. Sent from my iPhone SE using Tapatalk.

Thanks for that advice. I am an over thinker so it's possible I'll become engrossed once I get a proper diagnosis. =/ Sent from my iPhone SE using Tapatalk.
