I wish everyone had the perfect loving family. That would be amazing.
Is your family local?

My loneliest time was when I wasn't working and my daughter was in school. I was just floating.

They were so abusive I went away when I became 18, 5000km away (3100 miles)

That's true

My biological family hasn't been a family... The only thing I see as home it is college

Well that is good that you have put distance between you and them. But can see how you would still long for that family unit. You are of age to start your own family. Even if you don't want the wife and kids right now you can always have the four legged furry family. You would have that unconditional love and something to give love back to. It works for me. Are you still in school?

I am studying a degree, yes. But I can't have pets since they are not allowed where I live. And I can't pay for a place that allows them, I am poor.

Are there places you could go to be with people that are like minded? Support groups? Church? Clubs? Nursing homes where you could volunteer, mentor a child, Orphanage? Veterans rehab center? Or get a paying job with any of these, except the kid. As one person said people do not need to be blood relatives to be considered family.

That sounds like something worth a try. Meet some people, after a while determine which ones are worthy of your friendship. You will know.

In my area they have a Mental Health Association that is very good. They have support groups and have times when people can just gather. They help people get services, find work and they even run a help line with volunteers. They are also non-profit. I'm including a link to the National Mental Health Association search page in case you are in the US. Find An Affiliate | Mental Health America

If having a pet would help but you can't have one where you live, consider other options like donating time at an animal shelter or visiting the zoo.

So how have you been doing? How small is your city? You have a college there, right? Are you in the USA?

Can you talk to a school counselor? Is there such a thing there?
See if this link is any help to you.

The school counselor only treats people who are not being treated in the public health system, I see a therapist once a week. He is also my psychiatrist, but therapy is not going really well...

Have you discussed with your T that you feel like the therapy is not going well?

I am lonely too,I have cut off my biological family due to them being abusive.
It is cruel to be so alone and very painful emotionally.
I long for love ,reassurance and support,to be held in someone's arms told I am loved reassured that I will be taken care of.

I can't, I am poor and he is the only one who can see me weekly, most see you once a month. It is because ii am in a special program for severely ill people, but since iit is a tinny city he is the only psychiatrist who is also a therapist, there is a psychologist but I don't like her, I like my therapist even if maybe he cannot help me with trauma at least he is there.

Be we must be here and focused.

Look like you will have to take the tools he shared with you and make your own positive world, have you read anything about mindfulness and DBT?
